Gary J. Potter Jr.

Guitar has been a passion of mine since age thirteen. Since, I have gone on to graduate from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Guitar Performance. I began teaching music while in High School, and have now been teaching guitar for seventeen years. This has allowed me to experience extensive work in both group and private lessons.

I have studied a variety of musical styles such as: Jazz, Rock, Classical, Metal, Country, Blues and more. My performance background consists of many different musical environments including: Swing Band, Heavy Metal, Acoustic, and Theatre Orchestra.

Through my education and experience I am very proficient in all aspects of the guitar.  My goal as your teacher is to help you to be well rounded with your instrument and exceed in all areas of musicianship and guitar. 

These skills are all offered in my lessons: Writing, Arranging, Improvisation, Ear Training, Fretboard Knowledge, Music Theory, and Technique.  Being your teacher will be my pleasure and I look forward to meeting you.

Lessons $25.00 per half hour
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday
